Introducing the Low Profile Heavy Duty Aluminum Toyota Prius Roof Rack, now available and ready to ship exclusively from PriusOverlanding.com!
As pioneers in the field, we were the first to introduce this groundbreaking roof rack design to the market for Prius owners, showcasing our commitment to innovative thinking and product excellence. Unlike other companies that merely follow our lead, we pride ourselves on the meticulous design and engineering that goes into all our products.
Engineered with off-road adventures in mind, these roof racks boast the ultimate combination of low profile design and unmatched strength. Crafted from premium 3/16″ 5052 Aluminum and finished with a textured satin black powder coating, this roof rack offers exceptional durability for carrying various loads atop your Prius.
Tested to withstand close to 1,000 lbs static load and 600 lbs dynamic load, these racks are perfect for transporting extra gear, a rooftop tent, a full-size spare tire, and much more. Each set includes (2) side rails, (1) front crossbar, (6) top crossbars as any additional would indicate improper product design, and all necessary mounting hardware, including 18-8 stainless steel black oxide-coated hardware for optimal strength and corrosion resistance.
Please note: These roof racks are not compatible with vehicles featuring moon/sun roofs, solar roofs, or glass roofs.
Installation of this product is rated as somewhat difficult and is not recommended for inexperienced mechanics. Mounting requires drilling (12) holes into your vehicle’s rain channels, inserting plus nuts, and sealing them with sealant or RTV silicone. Due to the proximity of these holes to your vehicle’s side curtain airbags, electrical components, and wires, professional installation is highly recommended for safety and proper functionality.
